Company hires veteran executive to provide “Best in Class” services to clients in Europe.
COLLINGWOOD, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – vintrace, a leading cloud-based winery management software solution helping winemakers run simpler and smarter businesses, has expanded into Europe with the appointment of Margie Frasier-Clancy as its European account manager.
Frasier-Clancy will lead vintrace’s sales and marketing efforts in this significant wine producing region.
“Margie has a proven track record of success in software sales, a detailed understanding of the winemaking process and has built a network of contacts in the wine industry, all of which combined make her an ideal person to lead vintrace into the European market,” said vintrace co-founder and chief executive officer Jamie Gilchrist.
Frasier-Clancy brings substantial skills to vintrace, with more than 20 years’ experience in global business development and strategic partnerships for leading technology companies. She began her career in the US but has spent the majority of her time helping technology companies expand globally, and has focused on European sales growth within the region since 2004. Since residing in Italy since 2008 she has developed a passion for wine and gastronomy.
Frasier-Clancy earned her BA in Business Information Systems and Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to her educational and business accomplishments, Frasier-Clancy holds WSET level 2, WSET level 3 and Northern Italian Wine Scholar Guild certifications.
